Food & Fun
Boathouse Row: A row of fifteen boathouses housing social and rowing clubs. Each of the boathouses has its own history and are all at least a century old. A great place for a walk, run or picnic along the Schuylkill River Trail. Insider tip: make sure to see them lit up at night.
Reading Terminal Market: One of America’s largest and oldest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building. Go hungry!
Cheesesteak Wars: See the iconic Pat and Geno’s neon lights. Beware: you better know what you are ordering. “Cheese wit or without” We consider this for fun and recommend better cheesesteaks below.
Our faves in the city: Jim’s, John’s Roast Pork, Dalessandro's Steaks. Angelo’s is hottest new cheesesteak spot we have yet to try! Joe’s Steaks and Soda Shop is the closest to our venue.
